TERRACOAT® is an architectural solution consisting of a thermo-insulating cladding specifically designed for the construction of aesthetically pleasing façades with a high performance in terms of energy saving and indoor living comfort.

TERRACOAT® consists of prefabricated panels made by assembling sheets of EPS with graffite added and 2 cm thick ‘soft-paste’ terracotta strips.
The two elements are firmly glued together to create a single, indivisible body with very high resistance to atmospheric agents, even strong ones such as hail.

It constitutes an important step in the field of prefabrication because the insulating panels already have an exposed terracotta lath finish applied, whereas previously it was necessary to manually lay one brick or exposed lath at a time on the building site. Furthermore, assembly is carried out in the factory, in a controlled environment with high quality control of the production process.

The small dimensions, equivalent to 0.54 m2 per panel, and the limited weight (approximately 17.4 kg) make the system easy to handle on site. In addition, a range of Accessories (eaves, frames, window sills...) complete the solution near openings and windows.

The TERRACOAT® system ensures a high thermal performance of the building as well as giving beauty to the façades thanks to the soft-paste terracotta laths in the variety of finishes and colours of the SanMarco and Pica range. These characteristics make TERRACOAT® perfect in cases of new construction of private residential units.
